Great! Hopefully I will get to it today, if not then tomorrow. Today is a work day for me, but I'm sure I can squeeze out 13 mins! ;)

Section 6 is PL OK! Lovely reading to kick off this project!

I don't really think it is necessary to make the moral explicit - it is pretty clear from the story!

No Miller's tale? Well in that case I would like to do section 9, Clerk's tale.

Sorry everyone, didn't realise the email notifications were down - thanks for those claims, I'll put them all in the MW.

Please note that as I expect this project to move fairly quickly and the sections are all short (apart from Ch 2), I do not plan to give any extensions. So please only claim what you can read within the 2 month time limit.

Here's the Preface! I can't PL my own work, so Kitty or anyone else can take a listen and let me know if it is OK.

Right, Beth, the Preface is PL ok and a great intro section for this book. :9:

And I agree with Mrs Tappan: compared to Beowulf, Chaucer is not difficult to read, even in the original. He had quite an easy-going style and Middle English is much closer to Modern English than Old English, which is completely different in grammar, syntax and vocabulary.

Does 128kb need to be added to the end of the file names? :hmm:

Welcome! We would love to have you contribute to this project!

However, before you record for this, you need to get your equipment set up and checked with the 1 minute test. Have a look in the introduction forum or your welcome email for the full instructions.
