Thank you Ricarda,
I am unable to access Archive this week, so I can't check your source. As long as it was published before 1923, you can go ahead. I'll add it to the MW when I am back within reach of IA.

great project, I just discovered it.
I would like to contribute a german text by Kurt Eisner, first Prime Minister of Bavaria, assassinated in 1919.
The title is "Wir Toten auf Urlaub". it will be less than 5 min.
I have a PD source on archive.org:

Hello MaryAnn
I wanted to record in Romanian ''Fourteen points'' by President Woodrow Wilson of the United States, but I have not found any work in the public domain.
Does anyone (English speaker) want to record this work? Here's the source of the English text:
https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Fourteen_Points_Speech
I would be glad to be this recording in the LV archive. Many people want to listen to this speech.
Thank you!

Thank you for the suggestion Livia. I have added it to the suggestion list near the top of the thread and I do hope someone will record it.livia wrote: ↑February 5th, 2018, 7:41 pm Hello MaryAnn

Thank you Betty.
Can you do a short blurb about this selection? I plan to put both chapters from this book together (as far as order), so if you would like to combine the blurbs, that's also fine.
(summary of summaries are here: viewtopic.php?p=1370647#p1370647)

My blurb for The Turkish Beauty...
A tale of espionage and intrigue with a female spy hiding behind many names and in many places. Sending secrets she learns in the United States back to Germany, she was apprehended but never charged or incarcerated. How was she able to avoid being put in prison?

Hi,
I want to contribute:
- in german
- the foreword and first chapter of "Kurze Aufklärungen über Wesen und Ziel des Pazifismus" by Alfred H. Fried (i think, one recording/contribution will do for both texts?)
- text https://archive.org/details/kurzeaufklrungen00frie (published 1914)
- Author Fried, Alfred Hermann, 1864-1921
- summarize (pls correct it, my english isnt the best):
Austrian Peace Nobel Prize winner and co-publisher of several of Bertha von Suttner works, Dr. h.c. Alfred H. Fried, answers some short-sighted, prejudiced accusations of opponents of the peace movement. He wants to keep the discussion on a factual basis and explains and defines Peace, the absence of war - and pacifism in the first chapter.
Did I forget something?
Thx for your feedback!
cheers,
schrm

One recording is fine.
How do I say "preface" and "Chapter 1" in german?
