Thank you, all, for recordings and claims!

Thanks.
I can't find where the "Xing" is in the story, but I find other places where he is referred to as King. So yes, Xing should be King :) Thanks for checking!

Section 137, length is 5:2

I believe that the online version I am reading from might have a few typos.....

Thanks.

Hi Katherine,

Here is my first attempt at section 52; please let me know if I have the intro right or if there is too much background noise.

https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/wondergarden_52_olcott_128kb.mp3 Length 2:12

Thanks,
Angi

Hello,
Here are my final 2 for this thread. :)

https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/wondergarden_138_olclott_128kb_data.mp3 time 7:48
https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/wondergarden_141_olclott_128kb_data.mp3 time 6:14

Heads up here for you. Section 141 passed the checker though the sound is at 89.0 with background sound at 36.0
I realize those are higher than possibly the expected, though I was enjoying myself ( I do need to learn how to keep an even voice when reading the audios.Yet where is the fun for the listener when I sound like a robot?) and their are "bird sounds" in the background(wonderful for the "spring" sparrow dialogue, I thought)

Section 2 is better! Now the transition between the two texts sound better. I still hear a repetition at 00:23, though: "The Garden of Delight. The Garden of Delight." Could you please fix and upload again? :D Thank you!

Well read in section 52, Angi! I can't hear any background noise, and you've got everything correct.

I have just one note: The volume is a little bit soft -- please amplify by 3 or so, save with the same name, upload and post again in this thread. Everything else is great! Please let me know if you'd like any pointers for how to amplify :)

Section 135 is PL OK!

A couple of volume notes for section 138:
the volume for the whole section is a little bit soft. Please amplify by 3 or so.
around 3:00-3:05 the volume drops for a few sentences. Perhaps you can amplify just this part by a few dB.

All the rest is good!

Section 141 is well read as well :D Only one note:
Please add
"End of The Wonder Garden: Nature myths and tales from all the world over for story-telling and reading aloud, and for the children's own reading, by Frances Jenkins Olcott. "
at the end, after "End of section 141"

Great work, April!
