Thanks Carolin.
Sorry about getting the section number wrong.
I'll correct it on my own computer in case of corrections and reuploading needed.

First, a couple of technical notes:

1) This is a stereo recording, and LV requires mono.
2) This is recording in a variable bit rate, and we require a fixed rate of 128kb.

There are also several red spikes in the recording on some of your sibilants. This can be improved with your mike settings and distance. At the beginning, the silence is slightly more than one second, and we try to keep it no more than one second. But, if you edit out the clicks at the beginning, you will be okay. Then, the closing silence is just a tad under the requested five seconds.

There is a way to convert stereo to mono, but with a short poem, it might be just as easy to make a new recording, and watch for those spikes, too

Thanks for your efforts!

Hi there,

Could I please have section 156 - the Mermaid of Margate? :)
I'm still sorting out my technical issues first, but I really like mermaids haha.

5mm 10secs,

I've 2 others, the epistle to rae wilson, I just need to listen to it through, and the key just needs the repeats cut out.
Hopefully I should be able to get them to you soon.
Just a few technical notes:
The name for this link is wrong. Somehow you have 082 instead of 088, and you have it repeated.
Then your opening silence is too long. It needs to be just one second or less, and your closing silence is too long - over 7 seconds, and it should be only five. There is also a loud click.

Usually I don't do this, but since there was a problem with the file name, I corrected that and while I was at it took care of the beginning and ending, and uploaded the corrected version. Just give special attention to these aspects when you record and upload your other two sections.

Very nice reading!
