Wonderfully read! Just a note for the ending. Since you have the long intro at the beginning, you don't need the "This recording is in the public domain" at the end, although it's okay. But, you DO need a full five seconds of silence at the end. This is necessary as each section is compiled together when they are all done.

Off to a wonderful start!

I hope we'll hear much more of your voice hear at LibriVox.

Oh, just upload your file again under the same name, then post the link and new file length hear. I'm looking forward to Part 2!

Thank you! These are long sections to read.
Did you see the note about Section 1 that needs revision?
This one is closer on the ending silence at 6 seconds, but it should be 5.
The volume is just outside our range at 92.1 dB. There are also a couple of spikes near the middle, so it would be better to bring this down a couple of dB nearer our target of 89 dB.

FOOTNOTES: I forgot that there is a note for both of these sections to include the footnotes. There is one for this section, footnote 4, at about 15:38 in the recording. The first three appear in the first section. They should be inserted where they occur, or if you feel it interrupts the sentence, they could come at the end of the sentence. You can introduce them just by saying, "Footnote" and reading it, then saying "End of Footnote" and proceeding. I'm sorry that I overlooked this before.

So, just make these revisions and upload the files again with the same title and post note here with the new file lengths.

Thanks for sharing your reading skills with us!

Hi Carolin,

I am sorry I didn't see that first note about part one. I will be sure and make the necessary adjustments to both files per your instruction ?

Yes they are long but that's the challenge and I am blessed to be able to share with you all and maybe inspire others to volunteer.

Have a great rest of your weekend!
