Hi Carolin,
I'm reading section 70, Ode to Rae Wilson, Esq.
At the beginning is a Letter to the Editor of the Atheneum, followed by 2 short quotations, before the actual poem starts.

Is there anything I should say to separate these, and should the title of the poem be repeated at the beginning of the poem, even though it does not appear there in the text.

Thanks in advance for all advice,
David

HI David I have been reading a lot of these so I can let you know what I have been doing which have passed review. I read the standard intro which includes the poem title, who wrote it and that you are the reader. Then I record that this is a letter, pause, the body of the letter, pause, the quotes (almost all poems have them), pause and then read the peloem. I do not read the title of the poem again.

I hope that helps!

Thank you both

David, i personally do read the title of the poem again whenever I record poetry. This is a matter of taste, you can choose what you prefer :) thank you!

129: Our Village

Length: 4:58

(My "s" sounds seem to be getting more sibilant, despite the De-Esser plug-in - hope they're not too annoying)

Carolin - what is happening with the PL'ing for this book?

I notice that I have quite a few recordings that have been stuck in the PL queue for a while now with no feedback. I know that I cannot PL my own recordings however do you want some help with some of the other people's recordings?

Regards -
