please ignore my 2nd submission of section 6 as the first submission is the correct one. I think I have mislabeled my second submission which should be labeled section 8.

Welcome to LibriVox. Hope you find it rewarding and enjoyable.

Those two sections are yours.

One question - How would you like to be credited for your recordings in the LibriVox catalog? You can use your real name, your forum name, a nickname, or something else. Just let me know.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

M

I was just about to tell you that section 8 wasn't posted, but I see that it is.

Section 6 is most definitely PL OK. :)

Thanks, M. Let’s go with Ray Gordon for crediting my recordings, and yes, I did teach 8th grade.

Thank you. And I agree with you about the book. These stories have all been enjoyable to listen to even though there are quite a few sad endings. I am sure yours will be too. I plan to listen later today.

This is really good writing! I would love to read Sections 27 "What the Vandals Leave By Herbert Riley Howe", 30 "The Idyl By Joseph F. Whelan", 34 "Patches By Francis E. Norris", and 45 "When “Kultur” Was Beaten By Lieutenant X".

60 - I think you got so used to reading "not" that you inserted it a couple of extra times. :)
You have it in "but he did fraternize briefly" at 1:36, and in "but he did fraternize briefly" at 1:48.

Thanks,

M
Okee-dokey. Well, I'm NOT sure what I had going on with the word "NOT", but obviously I must have felt fond of using it this day of recording... which I was "not"

Let's try this again...

and please adjust time to 4:00... Yeah, I do NOT know what happened there either :hmm: ... Hope this one is OK 🙏
