I had posted this in another thread, but a great source of stories for these mystery/suspense collections can be found here:

Tons of issues of Detective Story Magazine are linked above with every issue having at least 5 or more crime/detective-based short stories. Some really good stuff in there. Of particular interest is a lot of stories from Johnston McCulley (author of the Zorro novels).
