czandra wrote: July 2nd, 2022, 1:17 pm Thank you Christine! I'm happy to share it with you if you're busy. I had planned to proof it, but got recording quite a few myself, so I need at least a listener for those. Would you prefer to do just mine, or all the remaining stories?

Czandra
I'll just PL yours.
Best,
Christine
P.S. You might want to remove from Listeners Wanted section.
We don’t remove posts there (or at least there is a periodic housecleaning). We mark them Listeners Found and remove the sticky.

Thanks!
I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

Kerry, the text of "Sons of Savages" is letter-perfect. However, the recording quality leaves something to be desired. It sounds like it's gone through filters or noise reductions that have made some words almost inaudible. You'll hear what I mean if you listen at 0:38, 0:49, 1:26 - 28, 2:12, 5:40 or so, and around 8:25.
