Catalogue name: Debbie Talley :)
Another interesting story. :hmm:

We do have a bit of an issue here between the words "Google" and "Goggle." I don't know if it's enough to warrant corrections to the recording. I will leave that up to Chuck and Debbie. But the book prints this name as "Goggle-Eyed Jim," and the MW incorrectly says "Google-Eyed Jim." Unfortunately, that error was carried over into the pronunciation of the name, but again, I don't know how important it is to correct that. (We should correct the MW in any case.) The points in the recording where we would need this correction (if we choose to make corrections) are:

0:16
1:29
2:08
3:16
3:53
I've rerecorded - this time with Goggles (no googly eyes). Here is the file:

This recording is PL ok now, thank you! I do want to point out that the file name is not quite right this time around, though. In fact, at first I thought that no change had been made, because I was listening to the file that was in the MW. If the file name of this second take had been correct, it would have replaced that one, but you are missing an underscore between "skinner" and "128kb." I can correct the file name this time around, but please be careful of this in the future. :)

Thank you, Jennifer! This was a sweet story. Nicely done. Only one correction needed.

0:12 Stumble and repeat that needs to be cut. "For more information or vol-- correction. For more information..."

Section 49 - The Underground Station - length 5:53

Let me know if this works for you all.

The sampling rate is better on this one, but it looks like that change affected the volume, as it is now too quiet. :hmm: But to save us all a little time, and because volume is a fairly simple fix, I went ahead and adjusted it myself, so you won't need to worry about that. Still, you may want to let your editors know that it was about 3 dB below where we want it.
Thank you for your time and efforts. All the very best,
Sharon E.
