[COMPLETE] Echoes of the forest by William Edgar Brown - tg
section 5 corrected, but the edits are audible because I'm recording in a different place.

I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

Adrain, 18 has a few optional edits:
3:49 should be Loud and louder not louder and louder
5:41 he'd not he'll
8:50 I knew, not I know
9:15 as soon as...
Sorry, times are approximate. I haven't got precision on that yet...

"Sorry, times are approximate. I haven't got precision on that yet...". I hope you'll forgive some gratuitous advice. And my apologies if you already know this.
I PL in Audacity. That way I can easily stop and locate the problem.
I also drop labels (ctrl+B) at points of interest and Edit / Labels / Edit Labels conveniently lists the position of these labels.
I do the same when editing in corrections so that I can always go back to the location of the edit, should I need to.

Adrian

Hello Czandra, czandra wrote: ↑May 17th, 2022, 9:46 am Thank you Adrian. I've marked s. 17 PLokay. Nicely read indeed. If you wanted to, you could add after the words "Oneida Legend" at the beginning, the words of the footnote on that page, acknowledging the source. Not required, though. Let me know if you do make the change.
Czandra
I've expanded the intro and title.

Hello Czandra. I'm going to call this PL OK.adrianstephens wrote: ↑May 17th, 2022, 8:37 am Section 5 - PL Notes
at 9:04 "boundless band" should be "countless band"
at 10:31 "in many a form" should be "in full many a form"
at 13:09 "was thus busied" s/b "thus was busied"
at 13:22 "nets she made" s/b "nets made she"
at 13:34 "each day their task was ended" - edit gone wrong, missing phrase "seemed a day ... each day" after "each day".
You did miss the edit at 13:09, but I think we can argue that this doesn't change the meaning.

Adrian

Good morning Alan. Pronunciation of Ontanagon should be changed to Onta-nagon with accent on the O and on the a in nagon, making it metred /- /-. Both a's are soft, as you have done. Fortunately it only appears once, so not a hard fix.
Thanks!
