Thanks!
ah, good. Someone read a Lovecraft that hadn't been done before! I'll strike it from my list.

Thanks for maintaining that list, by the way. Yours and Kadath's are both super useful :)

I had almost forgotten how to do all this stuff.

Hi Rapunzelina, I've gone for another of Mr Lovecraft's tales again. One that was very controversial when first published, and whose subject matter still remains taboo and difficult to broach.

Hi Rapunzelina:

Restitution
By Charles Henkle
From Snappy Stories, March 4, 1916
Read by Dale Grothmann
Time 3:51

Audio at: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/ghohor059_restitution_henkle_dg_128kb.mp3

Text at: https://pulpmags.org/content/view/issues/snappy-stories.html

I think this might be marginal for this volume, BUT the character and situation are horrible...

Thanks
Dale

Mary E Wilkins Freeman, The Southwest Chamber

https://www.gutenberg.org/files/1617/1617-h/1617-h.htm#chamber

Run Time: 76:19

This is my first recording! Please list my name in the catalog as Nicole Tan

I know I'm over the ~74 minute mark. I can probably cut more time off/rerecord pieces at a higher clip.

Hi Nicole! Welcome here!

You read this story amazingly! What a talent! I'm glad you found and joined Librivox!

Thank you for this story. It's fine as is. As a listener I got lost in your narration and I didn't even realized how long it was before it ended. There are CDs with a 78- and 80-minutes capacity.
