I used to live in Maidenhead (section 25) and have happy memories of Boulter's lock there.

He did not appear to care much for Fulham either.
Sections 25, 28, and 29 are PL Okay
Section 26 requires 2 small edits: @ 0:20 there is a six-second gap. @ 15:31 "Henry VI and Edward IV" I heard "Henry VII and Edward VII"
Section 31 has two gaps: @ 2:10 and 8:58. Also, please add "End of section 31" prior to "End of Father Thames."
Thanks!

Hi,
Here is Section 16:
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/fatherthames_16_higgins_128kb.mp3
Time: 12:21
I lived in Southeastern England for a couple of years in the late 1960's and absolutely loved it, Romford, Ilford, Southend-on-Sea, Croydon, Broadstairs, Islington, and Ipswich to mention a few, so when, a couple of years ago I came across a book called London, The Novel, I had to read it. It is by Edward Rutherfurd, published in 1997. It was totally absorbing. From the back of the book: "In this epic novel, Edward Rutherfurd takes the reader on a magnificent journey across sixteen centuries fro the days of the Romans to the Victorian engineers of Tower Bridge and the dockland developments of today. Through the lives and adventures of his colourful (sic) cast of characters he brings all the richness of London's past unforgettably to life." If you have an interest in London's history, and enjoy historical novels, try and find it if you can. (of course it is 1302 pages long )

I read both London and Sarum (Salisbury, the author's home town) many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed them both. Alas, his Dublin Saga isn't audiobooked yet.Kalamareader wrote: ↑January 27th, 2022, 8:06 pm ... a couple of years ago I came across a book called London, The Novel, I had to read it.
