Hi, Medora! I have some PL Notes for you -

On the_children_of-odin:
  • Can you please add this to the end of the recording: "End of Far Away and Long Ago, in Myths and Legends Around the World - Collection 14." (followed by 5 seconds of silence)
  • Then export to mp3 again, but give the file this name: mlaw014_farawaylongago_colum_mks
On the_story_of_the_beginning:
  • Can you please add this to the end of the recording: "End of The Story of the Beginning, in Myths and Legends Around the World - Collection 14." (followed by 5 seconds of silence)
  • Then export to mp3 again, but give the file this name: mlaw014_storyofbeginning_cummings_mks
and upload the new files to the project here (don't forget to post the links) :)

Let me know if there is anything I need to change or modify! :)
Hi! Thank you, and welcome to LibriVox! :)

Your story is loaded and queued for PL later today.

The only thing I still need from you is the name you would like us to use when we generate your Catalog Reader Page. (This is the page the public can see when looking at audibook readers in the Catalog). Some of us use our real name, some use our forum working name, and some make up another penname.

You can use my real name, Bethany Rooke! Thank you!

Hi, MissKay!

Welcome to LibriVox, and thank you very much for this contribution. It was new to me, and I enjoyed listening to both your reading and the story.

You made it so easy for me, including all the information that needed to be put into the MW. :) There is only one tiny fix that needs to be made.

Our files are supposed to have only 1 second of silence at the beginning. Would you mind clipping off 4 seconds of the silence from the front, and then re-export to mp3 and upload the edited file?

Thank you :)

Hi, MaryAnn,

Looks like we need this author added to the database. I've verified that this is the same person:

Horace Newton Allen

Hi There! I am new to Librivox and this is my first recording (other than the 1 min test, of course). It is 09:27 long.

It is a story called "The Fairies of Merlin's Crag" from The Scottish Fairy Book by Elizabeth W. Grierson.

Thanks :)

Here is your Reader Page: [url=https://librivox.org/reader/17117]Shelley Lowe[//url]

You'll see that it will list all the projects you're a part of, both complete and in-progress. It also has a link to lists of any sections that attached to your name for either recording or proof-listening. :)

And your first recording is PL OK!

Very nice debut, and thank you very much for contributing to this collection. :)
