Hi Victor,
That was a thought-provoking story. Nice reading!
All I found after proof listening is a repeat of "was" around 2:37.5-2:38.
Please edit that spot and resubmit it.
Thank you!

Hello!

This will be my first submission, so I'm very much still learning the ropes, but I figured it would be best to jump in right away.

I've selected Philip K. Dick's "Last of the Masters", which is apparently also known as "Protection Force".

Here is a link: https://www.pkd-books.com/last-of-the-masters

It doesn't appear that anyone has read this one for Librivox yet so hopefully it's a good bet.

Thanks!

Hi,
That site isn't an acceptable source. There are several stories on Project Gutenberg by him. Here is the link:
https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/author/33399
PG has a team of lawyers who clear these stories so please use one of the ones they have. You can keep an eye on that link in case that story is cleared in the future.
Duplicates of stories are welcome. We just don't put two of them in the same collection. The other one would be saved for the next collection.
Thanks,
Amy

Thank you for your two stories, David! I will PL soon. How would you like your name to appear in the catalog? For now I put it in as DavidSweeneyBear
and added this link https://dsbaudio.com/

Greetings... I'd like to contribute "The Crystal Egg" by H.G. Wells. Like most things from H.G. Wells, it's already on Librivox, but I'd enjoy doing a version of it.

Gutenberg has it here: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/27365/27365-h/27365-h.htm#Page_1
From this book: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/27365

Thanks,

Harley.

Hi Harley,
It is a suburb story for the collection.
I look forward to hearing your rendition.
Have a good night!

Hi David,
I enjoyed your reading style! Your recording is just a bit too loud. Please reduce its amplification by 3db and resubmit it.
Thanks!

Thanks! - not a problem to reduce by 3db - probably will be the same case for the other story, but I'll wait for you to have a chance to listen, then re-submit (both if necessary).

Yes, it is the same with the other. I didn't get a chance to listen to it today, but I hope to tomorrow.
Have a good night!
