Thanks Derek!
Chapters 6, 7, and 8 are PL OK

Chapter 01 sounds great! But the silence before the intro is more than 2.8 seconds. Please reduce it to 0.5-1 second and re-upload.

Just a side note, the volume of your recordings is in the low 86-87dB range. Since 86-92dB is the accepted range, you could consider amplifying your future recordings by 2-3dB.
Here's the edited version of Chapter 1. I reduced the length of the silence at the beginning. https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/taleoftimothyturtle_01_bailey_128kb.mp3

The run time is now 4:21.

And I do appreciate the feedback. Future recordings will be louder. Santa brought me a new microphone. :D
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything, it's too late to stop reading it.

Divya, I will fix my clunks this weekend. They were caused by my own laziness -- recording downstairs and simply telling the significant other (aka Father Christmas) that I'm recording. At least the Giants game wasn't on -- the swearing would be awful!

Hi Ellen!
I noticed a misread at about 2:21.5 where "Now, there was an ill-mannered scamp named Peter Mink" is read as "... named Peter Monk".
Apart from that, I notice some noise when you are reading. You may choose to leave it as is, or you can try applying noise reduction. Here are some videos that can help you with noise reduction in Audacity: https://sites.google.com/site/librivideo/for-volunteers/recording

Thanks for recording! :D
