A Walk in a Workhouse by Charles Dickens (1812-1870)

Duration:21:16

Hope this is OK.- it was a real struggle to record it. It's a rather dark story. Will send you a PM.

Peter

PS I tried to send you a PM but it has been lost somewhere! Might try again on another day.

My final story this month for the 100th compilation.

https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/ssc100_fiveorangepips_pt_128kb.mp3

The Five Orange Pips by Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930)

SOURCE: https://gutenberg.org/cache/epub/1661/pg1661-images.html

Duration: 49:43

A new one I've just discovered. Hope it's OK - it was longer than I anticipated - and again a bit of a struggle - but less so than the Dickens.

Best wishes

The Five Orange Pips PL OK

I did notice the volume drop a bit over the last 10 minutes or so, but not enough to be concerned about.

Must have been voice fatigue. I've uploaded new file. (+1.13 dB gain from 43:32 on timeline).

Hope it's OK now.
