Totally PL ok again :)

Thank you!
hello and a warm welcome to the forum and this project :) I see you already passed the minute test  so you are ready to roll right away.

I opened your personal reader page now: https://librivox.org/reader/16904 where all your projects will be listed. If you want to record under another reader name, for example your real name, please let me know and I can still change that.

Since you're new to all this, please read carefully through the first post in this thread. You will find everything you need there: the link to the text, the correct intro and outro disclaimer and how to name the finished file correctly.

Any more questions, don't hesitate to ask. And have fun with Glamis Castle. Thank you for your interest.

thank you, Faith, yes it is already louder now. Still a bit on the low side but much better than before. I think I can mark it PL ok.
Here's section 49! Great story!
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/hauntedhomes_049_ingram_128kb.mp3
Really hope this one is a little bit more even in terms of volume... I tried haha!
 oh yes ! this sound is much better, so I'm glad you found a way of controlling the volume in your voice better. You probably noticed it was much easier to noise clean and amplify now. This is really very clear to understand. Please proceed this way :)

However I have three small notes concerning cuts:

> at 0:05: you leave 5 seconds before the intro starts. We actually recommend not more than 1 second at the beginning, otherwise people will wonder whether there is any audio at all ;)

> from 0:29 to 0:32: between "Lumley" and "many judicial decisions" - also here, please cut a bit of silence. Anything over 2 seconds feels too long for a listener for the story to go on

> at 0:54: repetition, can be cut once: "In 1680, according to Dr Moore, there lived at"

other than that, a great story indeed and very nicely narrated. 8-) Thanks

Sonia
Sorry for the slight delay! Had quite a few school projects.

Thank you for the feedback and for catching those (embarrassing) mistakes!

I have made the requested edits only and reuploaded.

In case it is easier, here is the link!

This is my recording for section 115.
Duration : 24:02

Thank you for the kind words Sonia!

Could the reader name be changed to Arthur Buckley please? I used it for this recording if that's ok.

Thank you for your feedback in advance, hopefully the recording is good to go! :)
