Any chance I could have Section 58 and 59? "Dust and Snow Bathing" and "Decoration in the Home"?

I'd be glad to have you reading for this project.
I have assigned these two sections to you.

I read your intro, and want to give you my encouragement in you pursuits!
I think you will find LibriVox very fulfilling, and a very supportive place to be.

54 is PL OK!

I didn't hear any noticeable mouth noises. However, fellow Librivoxer, Phil, has created an extensive library of "how-to" videos that I refer to for issues like these. They're on the Librivox Wiki at https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Instructional_Videos. Down towards the bottom are all the ones on fine tuning your recording.
Thank you for the tip!

40 is PL OK! I've seen a cassowary at a zoo - they are not attractive birds!

https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/strayfeathers_60_rand_128kb.mp3
Tom, the last section of a book gets both the end of section outro and the end of book outro as noted in the first post:
End of recording:
Say:
"End of chapter #." [Optional, and if not stated in the intro: "Read by your name, city, date."]
If you are recording the final section of the book, add:
"End of Stray Feathers From a Bird Man's Desk, by Austin L. Rand."
So you'd say "End of Section 60. End of Stray Feathers..."

Thank you, sir! Here's hoping I do Mr. Rand justice, eh? The little illustrations of birds in this book really remind me of those in "The Real Frank Zappa Book", which is a very fun read. I think it was actually Ahmet who drew those for his dad's book, but maybe I'm remembering incorrectly. Anyways, I'll get those chapters to you ASAP - I don't imagine it'll take more than a week at most. I'm an independent contractor working from home, so I get to set my own schedule, and I'd like to try and record at least an hour for every work day. I'll tell you what - would it be alright if I come back and pick out some more chapters to record for this project after I finish these ones? (provided they're still available, of course) I don't know how long it'll take me to finish the two on my plate - I can't imagine terribly long, but I don't want to bite off more than I can chew, you know?

Anyways, thanks again. Very excited to have this opportunity. Cheers!
