only one short note for 63:

> at 0:04: "read for librivox.org" – you forgot "dot org" for the full address (after all this time !)

Section 36 - Dardanelles

https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/worldstory15_36_dresser_128kb.mp3
1.12

Appropriate to upload this today as today is ANZAC day, commemorated in Australia and New Zealand as the anniversary of this landing. Most of the casualties in this campaign came from these two countries.
To describe this event as 'heroic' is ridiculous, it was a badly planned catastrophe, the soldiers were just cannon-fodder :(

thank you, Kevin, that was fast. And perfectly narrated, no errors found at all. Totally PL ok right away. The author makes naval battles almost sound glamourous. :|

 indeed, what a life in the trenches. Wouldn't have wanted to be there for anything in the world.

Excellently narrated again, Jim, thank you so much. I only wanted to remark on one pronunciation issue that is changing the meaning quite a bit:

> at 19:15: (p. 122) "Hände hoch oder wir schiessen" – the 'ch' in "hoch" would be pronounced like the Scottish "loch". But I wouldn't have minded that so much, but a more important change of meaning is the word "schiessen", which needs to be pronounced with a long "ee". ('ee' like in "meaning", "it seems" "bleeds") The way you spoke it, it means quite another thing. :?

thanks
