thanks, Jo ! Another great section, and totally PL ok as well. I found it amusing that it's called "modern" Egypt and the newest info is about 1911  The fun of reading public domain texts.

Thanks, Sonia. I liked it very much too, especially that last section--being the father of three sons.

thank you, Roger :9: glad to have you as part of the troupe.

For the voice credit, I am going to paste together the following statement, so could you please read your part (in colour) so that it will sound in sync with the others later on ? It will run like this:
Sonia as the Narrator, Tomas Peter as Dolabella, Monika as Charmian, Sandra as Cleopatra, Eva as Iras, Roger Melin as the Guardsman, Nemo as the Clown, Philip Gould as the First Guard, xxx as the Second Guard and Alan Mapstone as Caesar
thank you

Only one small role left to assign !!! Who wants to be a Second Guard ?

Jim, here's another short job for you :) You may not agree with the statement of selling your child instead of your horse though.

Sonia as the Narrator, Tomas Peter as Dolabella, Monika as Charmian, Sandra as Cleopatra, Eva as Iras, Roger Melin as the Guardsman, Nemo as the Clown, Philip Gould as the First Guard, Larry Wilson as the Second Guard and Alan Mapstone as Caesar

yay, Robin, hey ! Great that you want to do your first official recording for this project. :9: You chose a short section, which is excellent for testing the waters.

I signed you up and created your brand-new personal reader's page: https://librivox.org/reader/12590
here you can see all the projects you participate in, and can check which sections are already PL ok or still need to be recorded or corrected.

Please read all the instructions in the first post (under the Magic Window). You'll see how to correctly name your file for this project, and how to say the intro and outro. As your section is so short, the abbreviated intro will be used for this one.

If you still have questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Good luck with your first recording and have fun !

 wonderfully dramatic, Monika !!!! I love the way you expire in the end  This sigh will definitely stay in. She does sound a bit crazed out, but that's normal, her queen has just died and she wants to follow her. Quite understandable under the circumstances.

Good job. Could you maybe just re-do this line, please ?

> at 1:07: (p. 209) “Your crown’s awry” – you say it like “oary”, which doesn't mean much in the context. It’s a-wry (rhyming with “why” actually). Here you can listen to an example: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/awry

thanks !!
