Hi everyone,

I'm new here, and eager to jump in! I have always wanted to pursue a voiceover hobby, but never knew where to start. I'm a mom of twin 2-year-old boys. I work part time as an independent contractor, mostly creating original content about team & organizational effectiveness. I also volunteer as an ESL instructor for refugees who have resettled into my local community.

Recently I've been exploring more creative outlets and have been watching classes on SkillShare, playing with apps on Adobe Creative Cloud. I came across LibriVox in an online course about voiceover acting, and was really excited to discover this community.

I love to go to the library to de-stress. Usually I just scoop up handfuls of whatever looks interesting on the LUCKY DAY shelf. I am a sucker for romance novels, but I'll read just about anything. Right now I'm reading Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman.

Happy to be here and excited to get started. Next step - my one minute test!

Hi Lydia! Welcome to many people's favorite addiction! Check this thread out viewtopic.php?f=25&t=28949 if you have any doubts. I hope you will consider doing a chapter, or many, in one, or all, of the three books listed below which you can access by clicking on the links below!
Best,
Christine
