Hi everyone! Finally made it to introduce myself.

My name is MJ and am happy to join this wonderful group.

I am based in Canada and am currently using my voice for online teaching. I recently decided to branch out into narrating. Of course, I do understand that teaching and narrating are different things. But am willing to learn lots and make new friends as well.

I like the idea of volunteering as this is really a great way to give back. It speaks very much to the Canadian in me.

Anyway, I am off to do my 1-minute test shortly. Hope to see you all around.

Hello MJ and welcome to librivox.

I'm a retired engineer living in Cambridge UK. I love Canada - my brother lives in Vancouver BC, and I've also visited Montreal a couple of times. I love the Canadian's laid-back attitude to most things, including road traffic laws.

I love librivox because participating has caused me to read works that I wouldn't normally touch (e.g. poetry).
And I've enjoyed playing character parts in dramatic readings.

This is a great group to be part of for many, many reasons.

Welcome, MJ! You must have more stamina than I for your voice to hold up for all that talking.

I can vouch that you will learn a lot, and probably will find that you will start seeing the same people across the projects you are interested in because they share some of the same interests!

Also I see you passed your one minute test, congrats! I look forward to hearing some of your recordings soon.
