Hello from Madrid (Spain)

Hello!

My name is Jesús Gómez, from Madrid (Spain) and my nick/username is Jegofer.

I would like participate in the project by reading books in my two native language: Spanish, with a Spain’s accent, and Gallego (Galician)

Professionally, I dedicate, among other things, to preparing material (including video and audio) for online training for my customers, so I have equipment (studio, different condenser and dynamic microphones, mixing desk, equalizer, audio editing software, etc.) and experience to perform the task; also, I am passionate about reading books!

Wonderful Jesus and welcome to LibriVox. We love all languages. Gallego? Thats a new one to me so you may be the first to make a recording in that language which would be great.

You (yes YOU!) are invited to the BEGINNERS ZOOM LIVRIVOX GROUP, Monday, Jan 3, 2022. Join in either or both of two sessions and talk with other LibriVox old timers and newbies; ask questions, and chit chat. Tell us about yourself and your pets. First Monday of the month. This is something new I am starting next year and any advice from a pro like you would be most appreciated.

In Spain there are many regions that have their own language, co-official with spanish. Galician (Gallego) is the co-official language of a region in the northwest of Spain (Galicia), it is very similar to portuguese.
