Wow, the last time I logged in here was October of 2006. My actual name is Paul but I went by Chip because I was working in commercial broadcast at the time. I had a great time volunteering, but somebody noticed and I was given the choice of working here for free or there for pay. Sadly I needed the paycheck.
But I'm retired now and stumbled upon Librivox on YouTube and was reminded of how much fun I had. Looks like lots has changed in the intervening years, but the ethos is the same.
Thanks to Maria for enabling me to access my old account again. It was so cool to see that I actually had thank you messages!
I think I'll do that one minute test first and then poke around looking for a couple of projects to join. Thanks for still being here!

Welcome back,
I just listened to a bit of a couple of your recordings from 15 years ago, and they age well! I can see why you got paid for your work. I am looking forward to listening to your new stuff.

Thanks Wayne, but I'm afraid the new stuff just isn't as good. I have Congestive Heart Failure and no longer have the breath control I used to have. I'm also doing the readings while sitting in bed with my phone, rather than in a studio with a Neumann U-87 microphone. But it's fun to do and I'm enjoying the days I have left
