Hey everyone!

I'm a 25yo queer philosopher from the Netherlands, living in Berlin. I work on ancient philosophy, mostly presocratics and Plato.
As probably most people here, I love reading. Which brings me to how I ended up here: I am in several reading groups, one of which focuses on reading books featuring ghosts throughout the ages. Naturally, I stumbled upon a bunch more of your lovely audiobooks. Then I found out it's possible to contribute by helping record these books. That sounded lovely, so I'm eager to dive in!
I am also a polyglot who still thinks they don't know enough languages. I read English, German, Dutch, Italian, Latin, and Ancient Greek. And because I apparently needed a challenge, I'm currently learning Russian.

Kind regards,
Riley (them/them)

Hi Riley and a big Welcome to LibriVox! You certainly have a wide range of languages and all of them are most welcome here. I've made a little video to welcome people; It has some basic info about us that I thought might be helpful to know right at the start. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here and you will fit right in. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs
