I'm happy to be here and start reading, and whatever else needs to be done.

After years of wanting to read and intending to start, I finally took the plunge when a friend asked me to read his new book. Now that I have the equipment, software and studio set up for that, I thought I'd read for LibriVox too. Other friends have already suggested titles they'd like for me to read.

I've been reading in public for many years, and voice acting for only a few, performing in radio plays and such, but this is my first time to record. While I think I'm not a bad voice actor, I honestly can't understand what others hear in my voice that they like, but I'm not reading for me, am I?

Peace,
