Hi there! I have just joined this community and am ready to volunteer my time. However, I am having a hard time figuring out how to start projects. If someone could help me get started that would be awesome! Thank you!! Look forward to doing projects with all of you.

It's great to have you as a new volunteer.
Have you already submitted your one-minute test?It's required only to check that you have the technical specifications right. When that's OK'd you're good to go and find projects to record. Before recording solo, it is suggested to start by claiming a section in a collaborative work so that new members can acquire experience. There are plenty of collaborative projects to choose from.
There's plenty of information for new members at the top of the forums. So much is happening all the time that it can be a little overwhelming sometimes! Just take your time, browse around, and post in the Need Help forum if you have any question. People here are really friendly and other members will post their answers.
