Hello at Librivox! I joined within the last year with all intentions of recording something! I've yet to do so, as I've found it intimidating to just get started. I see that some chapters in Marshall's English Literature for Boys and Girls needs to be recorded. Our kids are reading that book for homeschooling; would that be an appropriate place for me to start? If not, please tell me what other suggestions you have for me to record for my first time in the next month. Thank you! Jenna

Yes! That is a perfect place to start...after you submit your test recording to make sure that your technical settings will work for LibriVox.

In the meantime, read an available section out loud to see how it works for you. If it rolls off your tongue easily, claim the section and dive in! If you get overwhelmingly tangled in it, choose something else that is more enjoyable.

And Jenna, please ask more questions. We're eager to help you get started.
