Greetings-
I just volunteered this week and I am very excited. A little about myself-I have always, always loved to read, learn and explore.
Libraries and book stores have always been safe havens to me...even to this day.
I’ve always wanted to do voice overs, read for the elderly, blind and bedridden. I’m finally at a place in my life where I am no longer going to talk about desires and what “I would like to do” and just go for it!
Thanks for accepting me as a volunteer. I plan to spend the next few days reading the material that will help to get me started.
Sincerely,
jessDot29

Hi there. I am glad you found LibriVox. You’ll find that many others here are avid readers and literature lovers. I know that there’s a lot of information presented here and it can be confusing at first. Before beginning, please do your 1-minute test before beginning. This is not an audition, but merely to ensure your tech specs are correct. Once you get that done, you can begin recording!
