Hiya!
I was looking for volunteer opportunities online and was thrilled when my search took me to LibriVox. I've been listening to audiobooks for years (the only way to survive an LA commute) and have often wondered what it would be like to record one. Already LibriVox has quelled some of my fears about the technical aspects of the work, and I'm impressed by the Board's tight organization and the helpfulness of the Forum.
Can't wait to get started!
Amy D.

Welcome Amy! How fantastic that you are already familiar with LibriVox recordings!
Congratulations on getting your first PLOK (on your test recording). I hope you are enjoying preparing your reading of Dr. Grimshawe. I'm having a lot of fun with my chapters for it. You will continue to find that LibriVox has very few rules. You can usually apply your good judgment, but we always welcome questions when you're uncertain.
We're looking forward to hearing your chapter!
