Hi everyone!

My name is Adam, and I am joining all of you LibriVoxers! I am excited to finally be getting around to joining this community, as I have been meaning to do for quite a while, originally as a quarantine activity. I am a theatre artist and a teacher, so I am always looking for performance opportunities, and this one piqued my interest because it is all about making texts more accessible. Let's get reading!

Best to all of you,
Adam DeCoste

Hello, Adam, and welcome to LibriVox. I'm sorry about the long delay in answering your post.

I see that you've sent in your sample for the technical check; another Blue Yeti! (I have one, too ... I think I was the first LibriVoxer to get one.)

Phil has made a video to introduce you to LibriVox, too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKLWam9cfVo&t=74s ... and you can always get help in the Need Help subforum, further down the main page of the forum.

You might like to get involved in the plays and "dramatic readings" (the latter is when a work is treated as a play, with each character being taken by a different reader).

It's a friendly place; I hope you'll enjoy your time here.

Peter
