Hi all, I am joining from South Africa and need help. I work on a PC and there is a very audible hum when I try to record. How can I remove this noise? Thanks Gail

Welcome to LibriVox Gail! A hum from your PC can indeed cause problems with background noise. Try moving it as far from your mic as possible of course and pointing the back of it (where the fan points) away. I put heavy blankets between my PC and my microphone. And of course you can use Noise Reduction to lessen that frequency. More help will be found on our forums, Need Help?. You will enjoy being creative here as well as having fun. I've made a little video to welcome people; It has some basic info about us that I thought might be helpful to know right at the start. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here and you will fit right in. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs
