Hello, I've been recording audio for a website with my earbuds. Any recommendations on microphones of good quality for librevox?
Are there communities organized by genres here?

Welcome!
I haven't even read it, but here's a very recent thread about mics: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=81707
Projects are organized by Books, Dramatic Works, and Short Works. Within those forums, there should be a genre mentioned in the project thread titles.

Hi there! I'm a new start too. I use a Blue Snowball iCE mic with a mic pop filter. The microphone is a great piece of kit - if anything a little too sensitive, as it picks up the most distant of background noises. I clean up the audio using Cyberlink Audio Director 8, and the results are pretty good. You can judge for yourself - my stuff is on YT (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHyQ5sRG_J9ZLNoZeAfWDxA).
I hadn't heard of the site you mentioned - as a fellow believer in the Lord Jesus, I'm keen to check it out.
