Hi All,
I am a retired neuroscientist, spent 30 years studying how the brain works; one neuron and one gene at a time. Glad to widen my focus these last few years. Love reading aloud since the birth of my child 44 years ago. New but especially favorite is reading poetry aloud. This is the best challenge. Looking forward to many new friends and projects. (And hello from Oregon, we are working hard on the ecotopia prediction).

Welcome to LibriVox Chris! We welcome even neuroscientists here. Imagine that!! You will find that our LibriVox neurotransmitters are flowing very well but be warned that this site can be addicting. You will enjoy being creative here as well as having fun. I've made a little video to welcome people; It has some basic info about us that I thought might be helpful to know right at the start. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here and you will fit right in. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs

Oh, and Isabella, the happy Librivox penguin (who is currently working from her home of course) welcomes you too with her happy dance Image
