I am preparing for my doctoral research in the field of English phonetics.

I found Librivox when I was looking at Project Gutenburg for a writing assignment in a library science course back in college. The only work I listened to in Librivox was The Tale of Peter Rabbit some years ago, but I remember being excited about finding different readers with different ways of reading the same story. Now I am interested in the varieties of English accents, and looking forward to listening to different readers in Librivox.

I have just posted a message titled "Invitation to English Pronunciation Survey" at
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=80188.

I'd be really happy if I could hear your voice in the survey.
Thank you.
