Hello Librivoxians,

Having listened to a couple of Librivox recordings and having plenty of time on my hands I thought I would try to give something back!

I'm downloading the Audacity software as I type and will have a go at the 1 minute test recording and then... who knows!

I have a huge love for PG Wodehouse - I have 85 of his books, on the way to a full set - so my ultimate dream would be to contribute to adding another of his earlier works to the library here.

All the best

Gary

P.S.
The link to the Audacity software given in the Tech Stuff FAQ is out of date; it links to Sourceforge, which no longer has the software. It's here: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/

Welcome Gary. Thanks for theinfo about the wrong link. Is that from our Wiki? or a video? I'll fix it asap. I have always loved Wodehouse but I just can't bear to record without the right accent. And that you have! go to it .

I've made a little video to welcome people; you may find it informative and helpful or then again it may just be confusing. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs

Oh, and Isabella, the happy Librivox penguin welcomes you too Image
