My name is Jacqueline Dibble, and I live in Denver, Colorado. I am really excited about getting started. I have only ever recording exclusively for my children but would like to broaden my horizon a bit and record for someone else. I was a recording technician for Talking Books many moons ago and I was always intrigued by the readers and how they do what they do. Most of them were local actors and to see them switch characters in their own voice within a page or a few sentences was amazing to me. I don't have their skill but I love reading aloud.

I look forward to working with you all.

Welcome to LibriVox Jacqueline! You will enjoy being creative here and of course have fun. Don't be concerned about your skills, your voice is just fine. I've made a little video to welcome people; you may find it informative and helpful or then again it may just be confusing. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs

Oh, and Isabella, the happy Librivox penguin welcomes you too Image
