Hello, everyone!

My name is Michael and I'm quite new to LibriVox.

I'm 18 years old and, currently, I reside in New Jersey. I discovered LibriVox a few years ago after searching for a dramatic audio recreation of Merchant of Venice, which I was being taught in class at the time. It has been a great help for me in learning Shakespeare, but I have also used it for other books since (most recently Frankenstein and Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Being able to read the stories while listening to them has greatly improved my comprehension of the stories, and I thank LibriVox for that!

I also have a passion for the arts (especially theatre), and have been performing on stage quite regularly for the last couple of years. I am especially interested in participating in LibriVox's dramatic recreation of plays. I will always have a soft spot for Shakespeare. Other than that, though, I can use my acting abilities to create well-put-together readings of standard novels.

I am excited to hopefully start volunteering for LibriVox!
