New here, male, North American accent

I'm male, have a largely West Coast North American accent, in my twenties, hold a graduate degree.

At the moment I'm unemployed, so have plenty of extra time, hoping to make a positive contribution in that time.

To start, I'm particularly interested in taking part in some sort of multi-person play or dramatic readings, or poetry. Feel free to suggest projects.

At the moment I have no microphone, just the laptop's preinstalled one, but I hope to get a new one pretty soon.

I'm pretty new to audio recording, so still learning the ropes and getting technically situated.
