Hi

I’m delighted to have discovered the project and now I’m retired I hope that I can give some time to helping out with reading: If I’m good enough that is.

I’m a retired nurse and I don’t have a lot of experience reading apart from presentations and teaching sessions but I hope I’ll get the hang of it very rapidly. I’ve always had a deep love for books and since I was a wee girl was used to always having books around which I always read or had read to me.

Nice to join you all

Welcome to LibriVox! It is neat of you to volunteer. At first some things may seem a bit confusing. Be patient; everything will clear up eventually. I've made a little video to welcome people and share a few things that I think are nice to know about us at the start of your adventure. Note, these are just my feelings. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here and want VERY much for you to succeed. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs
