Hi, I'm Susan from Chattanooga Tennessee.
I just received my welcome email and my microphone on the same day and I'm excited and a little scared to get started. I love audio books because they've helped me to get caught up on books I've always wanted to read, or re-experience. I'm a long way off from lending my voice to a novel and I know I have to take baby steps first, like the ones that got me here today. I'm looking forward to receiving guidance from anyone willing to help. I just have to get though my 1-minute test and move on to the next step :)
Thanks all!

Welcome to LibriVox SweetTooth! It is neat of you to volunteer. At first some things may seem a bit confusing. Be patient; everything will clear up eventually. I've made a little video to welcome people and share a few things that I think are nice to know about us at the start of your adventure. Note, these are just my feelings. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here and want VERY much for you to succeed. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs
