Hello, all! My name is Adrienne, but I go by Addy. I'm an academic librarian by trade and an aspiring novelist. Part of the reason I wanted to volunteer was that I hoped to be able to give the gift of audiobooks back (seriously, they have kept me sane on my fairly long commute). The other part is that I would like to offer audiobook services to indie authors (who might not have the $$$ to access the services otherwise) and figured I should start practicing by volunteering here.

Pleasure to meet you all.

Welcome to LibriVox Addy! We want you to have fun here but at first it may seem a bit confusing. Be patient; everything will clear up eventually. I've made a little video to welcome people and share a few things that I think are nice to know about us at the start of your adventure. Note, these are just my feelings. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here and want VERY much for you to succeed. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs
