Hello! I'm Nicholi and I've been thinking about joining LibriVox for a while now, and I finally have. My primary interest is 19th century American history, especially when it relates to presidential history and African-American history. I have a number of works I will strive to get record. While I'd like to hop in ASAP, and start recording, unfortunately, I am sick right now, so my voice isn't the best and I'm prone to hack up a lung at any given second. However, I'm getting better every day, and hope to try to record something either this weekend or next week!

Welcome to LibriVox and I also hope you feel better soon! Everyone here has had voice/congestion problems and know that they pass eventually. We want you to have fun here but at first it may seem a bit confusing. Be patient; everything will clear up eventually. I've made a little video to welcome people and share a few things that I think are nice to know about us at the start of your adventure. Note, these are just my feelings. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here and want VERY much for you to succeed. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs
