Hello, Everyone

I am so excited to get started with LibriVox!

I've been told by many that I have a nice voice when I've presented videos I've made for college classes. The most cherished was from my son, a trained composer. He has a very good ear, and he is very critical by nature. He has encouraged me to try audiobooks, and he assures me that he would not do so if he didn't feel I have some talent.

I think I want to try children's books because I always enjoyed getting to read to my son's classes when he was in elementary school. Of course, I want to find my knack, so I will try other genres, too.

I appreciate constructive criticism as I want to be the best I can. I also look forward to engage with other users as I join this community as a newbie!

Here's looking forward to a new adventure!

Welcome to LibriVox Elspeth! We want you to have fun here but at first it may seem a bit confusing. Be patient; everything will clear up eventually. I've made a little video to welcome people and share a few things that I think are nice to know about us at the start of your adventure. Note, these are just my feelings. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here and want VERY much for you to succeed. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs
