Happy New Year!!!

Hello all, my name is Leselle (softstepgd) and I am from Grenada, spice of the caribbean! Thank you for welcoming me, I am so looking forward to volunteering on this platform. I have zero experience with this, well actually that's not quite true, I read to my kid.. Hehe. But I enjoy doing so. Only found out about you recently and I'm glad I did.
My mic and audio booth are work in progress so for now I'll will browse the forum, and listen to what's on here.
Thanks again for welcoming me and for this incredible forum.

It's lovely to have you joining us, Leselle -- I'm glad you found us.
Reading to your little one is excellent experience. Please do just ask if you have any questions ... having a look around the place is good, but please don't get overwhelmed at all. Yes, there's a lot of information, but also a lot of friendly people who remember what it was like when
they started, willing to help.
Have you got a favourite genre you're interested in reading? Or are you maybe going to try a bit of everything?

I like children's books and I also like fiction mysteries and thrillers and biographies. I don't mind all the information, I welcome in actually, but I will surely ask questions if I have any.
