I am new to the Librivox community and look forward to being here. I love to read, and do often. I would just like to help more books get heard.

The first thing to do is read through the welcome email you've received. It contains much important info, such as the link to the 1-minute test, a sound check we ask all new volunteers to complete before they start recording. Once you've recorded and posted the test, you just have to wait to have it OKed and you can head to the Readers Wanted area. There you seach for project(s) that you find interesting, read the first post to see what's available and post a message saying which bit you'd like to read.
