Hi, everyone! I am Shari, from MO. I have been interested in recording audio books for a while now. My mother is 90 years old and has recently lost much of her vision making it impossible for her to read--one of her greatest joys. I have gotten her hooked up with audio books she can check out from the library and it has opened up a new world for her. It is frustrating when she cannot find a book she would read if she could. I wish every book were available as an audio book.
Knowing how much joy how much joy hearing books give to my mother, I am even more interested in recording audio books so that more books are available for people who cannot read.
Looking forward to "meeting" you all and jumping in. I'm off to go create my 1-minute test.
