New To Librivox!

Hello

I am so excited to be here. I am home educator of four amazing kids, who all love audio books and so we love and appreciate all of the folks who help out here.

I am very much now looking forward to helping out myself. Perhaps reading or anything else I can do.

This is a wonderful thing and I am just thrilled to be able to be a part of it.

My older son (13) is interested in helping somehow as well.

Welcome! It really is loads of fun.

In fact, I haven't "introduced" myself on here yet either. I homeschool my 6 kids also (ages 4-14), and that is how we first got to listening to LibriVox years ago. I thought "No way! will I be able to find any time quiet enough to do any recording!" But I did!

(ok, so I hide in the walk-in closet).

A funny thing, now when I am reading to the kids their lessons, if I make a mistake I'll "click my tongue" (like if you make an error while recording and want to mark it). LOL They think that's quite hilarious. I'll have to be careful not to do that in public!
