Hey everyone!

Introducing the latest newcomer, myself, Elaine.

Would like to start by saying how thrilled I am with audio books. Until recently I was too busy to read a book. After discovering eAudio books and being able to find and listen to wonderful books by great authors online there was a lot of catch-up ´listening’ happening at my house and in my car.

I am retired now and have decided to try helping out with Libivox audio books. Looking forward to getting to ´know’ and learn from you.

This is also my first time posting anything in a forum. Hope I’ve got the right idea!

You are a natural Elaine, posting very well. A big welcome to Libricox - here is your welcome flower Image

1. first thing is to be sure you have the welcome email - it's got lots of great information.
2. if you wish to record, do your 1 minute test; just to check your recording specs.
3. Watch this little video about our forums http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnxpcbnEjoQ&feature=youtu.be . it explains some of our jargon and stuff.

4. have fun. has lots of questions. You may choose to Proof Listen first which is always needed, check that out.

Hey Phil!

Listened to your easy to understand, informative video. Now I will head over to proof listening, as suggested.

Wish me luck and thank you for your help.

Elaine
